Yvonne Boag was born in Glasgow in Scotland and emigrated with her family to Australia in 1964. She studied at the South Australian School of Art and graduated in 1977. Since then she has lived and worked in Melbourne, Sydney, the Lockhart River Aboriginal community, Paris and South Korea.
She currently holds an Adjunct Associate Professorship at Sydney College of the Arts.
Yvonne exhibits regularly Australia in Australia and South Korea. She is represented in major Australian and international public galleries including the National Gallery of Australia (59 works), Art Gallery of NSW, Geelong Gallery and Ian Potter Museum of Art.
