Mark Schaller is one of Australia’s boldest, most respected and successful artists. He was born in 1962 and lives and works in Melbourne.
He studied painting at the Victorian College of the Arts and was a founding member of the famous Roar Studios collective in the early 1980s. The Roar artists developed ‘Australian New Expressionism’, a style that has continued and grown in Mark’s ongoing art journey.
Mark has had over 30 solo exhibitions and his work is held in key collections including The National Gallery of Australia, and The National Gallery of Victoria.
